SeatGuru: Flight Seat Maps Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 October 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Music AI Studio Ltd ("we", "us", "our") about your use of the SeatGuru: Flight Seat Maps app for iPhone (the "App"). By using the App you accept them.

1. Your licence to use the App

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, under these Terms and the App Store's usage rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the App, except where the law allows it.

2. Seat maps and seat scores are a guide

Seat maps are drawn from the airlines' own published seat maps and the aircraft makers' published dimensions, and some cabins are approximate, worked out from the number of seats an airline prints (the App labels these "Approximate layout"). Airlines change cabins, swap aircraft and renumber seats, sometimes on the day, so the seat map, a seat's position, its legroom and the facilities near it may not match the aircraft you board. Seat scores, verdicts and the sun side are our opinion, worked out from the drawing and the published schedule; they are not advice and not a promise about your seat. Always check your seat with your airline, which decides where you sit.

3. Flight information

Flight times, routes and aircraft come from AeroDataBox, a third-party flight-data service, under its own terms. Aircraft are often assigned or changed close to departure, so the aircraft and cabin the App shows for a flight may change. We don't own, check or guarantee this information; for anything that matters to your trip, rely on your airline.

4. Subscriptions

Some features need SeatGuru Pro. You can have it weekly or yearly as a subscription, or buy it once for life. The price and length of each plan, any free trial and any introductory price are shown in the App before you buy, and the App Store shows them again when you confirm.

Lifetime access is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it doesn't renew, there is nothing to cancel, and it stays with the Apple Account that bought it — use Restore to get it back on another device or after reinstalling.

We may change what's included in a plan or its price; a price increase applies only from your next renewal, after Apple has told you about it where the law requires.

5. Boarding passes you scan

Only scan boarding passes and bookings that are yours or that you have the right to use. They are read on your device and are not sent to us; see the Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise that the App, its seat maps, seat scores or flight information will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, or for loss or damage that results from relying on a seat map, seat score or flight information in the App without checking it with your airline, as section 2 describes; and our total liability to you for all claims relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the App and its subscriptions in the 12 months before the claim arose and USD 100.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

8. Apple terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual property infringement. If the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the App must also comply with Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement and the App Store Terms of Service. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

10. General

We may update these Terms; if a change is material, we'll post it here before it takes effect. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms and the SeatGuru: Flight Seat Maps Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the App.
